FHA loan limits for Wisconsin in 2018

Buyers who struggle to save up a down payment may be served well by an FHA loan, which can be secured with a down payment as low as 3.5 percent.

FHA loans, which are backed by the Federal Housing Association, aren’t meant for luxury homes; they are designed to help buyers who are searching for modestly priced homes in their area. For this reason, each county in the U.S. has an FHA loan limit that is determined based on the typical housing prices for the area.

Here are the 2018 FHA loan limits for single-family homes across every county in Wisconsin.

Keep in mind that some cities are technically located across multiple counties, so you’ll want to ask your REALTOR® or lender about the loan limits for specific properties or neighborhoods near county lines.
